From the Headmaster:

HeadmasterI hope that our website will give you a flavour of the extensive academic, cultural, sporting and extra-curricular activities that as a small school, with a broad ability range, we can offer your son or daughter.

We are committed to realising the potential of each individual by providing a stimulating and enjoyable educational experience, backed up with strong pastoral care and careful monitoring. Experience shows Hillcrest equips our pupils with the skills to become well integrated members of the wider community: confident, caring and considerate of others, able to meet the changes and challenges ahead.

I look forward to welcoming you for a tour of the school to discuss your child’s education.

From a School Captain:

RebeccaI have been a pupil at Hillcrest for four years and now, in my final year, I cannot believe that I am already facing my GCSE exams!

Throughout my time at Hillcrest I have enjoyed many of the subjects I have studied. I have taken part in drama productions and sporting activities. I have many happy memories that I can take away with me and many friends that I know will keep in touch after we have left the school.

Hillcrest and the teachers have given me the grounding and confidence I need to take on future challenges.

Rebecca

From a Parent:

When looking for a school for our youngest daughter we wanted to find an environment where she would be treated as an individual and nurtured to allow her to flourish and thus reach her full potential.

We wanted a school where an 'old-fashioned' approach, such as good manners and pride in appearance, combined with traditions such as morning assembly, hymn singing and sports day sat comfortably with the use of modern classroom equipment and a dynamic approach to teaching. We knew that we did not want a 'one size fits all' type of school.

However, more than anything - as most parents will say, we wanted our daughter to be happy. We can confidently claim that our expectations have not only been met, they have been exceeded.
