Mad Science

Hillcrest works in partnership with parents to ensure each child's wellbeing. We are a small school so staff develop close and supportive relationships with every member of the community. The Headmaster and his Deputy take an active role within the school to ensure that every pupil fulfills their potential.

In the Senior School the academic and social welfare of each pupil is monitored by form tutors, Heads of Key Stage(s), Heads of Houses and the Head of Seniors.

In the Preparatory and Pre-Preparatory Schools, class teachers ensure that children are performing to their potential, mix easily and are involved in fulfilling activities. Formal Parents' Evenings for each year group are held at least once a year but more regular consultations are encouraged as and when necessary.

The Headmaster, his Deputy, Heads of Seniors,Prep and Pre-Prep, and indeed all staff, are always happy to see parents by appointment. We have an active Parent Teachers' Association which not only supports the School with regular functions and fundraising events but also serves as a constant link between parents and the School, promoting co-operation and understanding.
