GCSE Results
The Headmaster and Governors of Hillcrest Grammar School are extremely proud of the School's excellent GCSE results.
As a largely non-selective School we pride ourselves in supporting each individual to achieve the best possible results. Each year's results can only show a snapshot whereas the averages over the past few years give a much better picture of our successes:
5 or more A*-C GCSE passes per candidate:
2008 (97%), 2009 (68%), 2000-2009 (87%)
Average Value Added 2000-2009:
One Grade per subject per cadidate from age 11-16
Especially impressive in 2009 were results in Music and Food Technology with 100% success rates. Congratulations to Hayley Weir and Rebecca Parker who acheived 8 A*/A each.
